An early prototype of laundry is taking shape! Clothes can now be taken through a basic laundry flow. Can you tell which object is which? pic.twitter.com/UaSyMLwdHM

That's the wash tub, it's shaping up nicely 🙂

Thanks 😉 We're planning on having the Sim hang the laundry up on the line by hand.

Other way around! But not like it's possible to tell in this pic, hah.

I did! It's still early, we're only a few days into production. Object stacking isn't working for these just yet, but it will.

We aren't planning on specific emotional interactions for the laundry objects.

If you have a hamper anywhere on your lot, clothes will automatically go into it. If the hamper is full, clothes will show up on the floor.

We're going to have one set of washer/dryer machines that will fit in a variety of home styles. I tweeted the concept art for them earlier.

We aren't planning on including laundromats.

Green denotes a contact surface – it's a point on the object that we know a Sim will touch when animating with it.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) August 31, 2017
Nope, that's a hamper 😉
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) August 31, 2017
No, although they'll fit between counters perfectly, as seen here.

Only if you allow your hamper(s) to fill up. As long as you have a hamper with available room somewhere on the lot, clothes will go in it.
