They will wonder around all the worlds.

yes. you can even add them to your household.
— Antonio Romeo (@SimGuruRomeo) October 19, 2017
Yes. I think you can make a dog that looks very similar to Mabari.
— Sarah Holding (@SimGuruSarah) October 17, 2017
No.
— Grim Grue Daniel (@SimGuruDaniel) October 13, 2017
No, her cats are different in game.
— Grim Grue Daniel (@SimGuruDaniel) October 13, 2017
Yes. There is a chance the offspring will inherit the custom paint.
— Grim Grue Daniel (@SimGuruDaniel) October 16, 2017
Nope, just Cats and Dogs.
— Grim Grue Daniel (@SimGuruDaniel) October 16, 2017
Yes.
— Grim Grue Daniel (@SimGuruDaniel) October 16, 2017
Yes, I think you can get pretty close if you start with a spaniel and change the head shape a bit.
— Grim Grue Daniel (@SimGuruDaniel) October 16, 2017
Yep!

You do have to own the clinic to work there, but you could always buy some of the Vet objects and work on your own pets at home if you want.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
Pro Vet Tip: you can play multiple Vets at once if they're all from the same household. Perfect for a family-owned and operated Vet Clinic!
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
It's like Retail and Restaurants: you buy/build a Vet Clinic and then you can start playing as a Vet.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
You can control multiple Vets at once if they're in the same household, so yes!
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
A Vet Clinic is a separate lot, but you can buy and use the Vet objects on your home lot if you want to. You only get customers at a Clinic.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
No, they won't die of sicknesses (too sad!). Yes, there are other consequences. You'll have to wait and see.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
Once you own a Vet Clinic, you can just be like, "I'm a Vet now!" and do it.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
That would be cool, but we wanted to focus our efforts on making the one you can own and customize as great as possible.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
Absolutely!
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
It's definitely something we were excited to get in for the Vet.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 24, 2017
I'd certainly jump at the chance to add that if given the time.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 25, 2017
You can have the other Sims in your household work at your Vet Clinic. Tune in to this week's upcoming live stream for more details. 🙂
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 25, 2017
The Vet and Vet Clinic is part of the Cats & Dogs expansion. You'll need to buy Cats & Dogs to play it.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 25, 2017
You can absolutely take your pets to the Vet, even if you don't own it.
— Spooky Scary Houts (@SimGuruHouts) October 25, 2017
Yes 👍
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 12, 2017
There are Sims who will walk their pets around town, as well as strays!
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 12, 2017
Vet Clinics are similar to Dine Out's restaurant venues (which coincidentally, I also worked on). So you can visit them and own multiple.
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
Yep! If your pet is sick at home, you can plop down an Exam Table to treat it without going to the clinic
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
There is a prebuilt one in Brindleton, but no extra ones in the library this time. You can also build your own on any lot 🙂
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
Nevermind I spoke too soon–there's one in Brindleton BUT ALSO one in the library. Whoo!
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
Vet Clinics are like Restaurants from Dine out 🙂
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
Other than the crushing feels of leaving your poor pet to suffer, they will also "critically fail" if left sick too long. They won't die tho
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
It's not an actual career like the Get to Work active careers. The Vet Clinic is an ownable business like restaurants & retail
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
In TS4 pets will only die of old age. It was determined to be a little too dark to be able to euthanize pets for a T for Teen game😬
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
Handiness & Charisma are existing skills that might find some new use 🙂
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 24, 2017
No, you don't need Get to Work or any pack besides Cats & Dogs to play the Vet Clinic
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
Yep 🙂 We'll go over that more in the stream tomorrow
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
Your cats and dogs will get sick over time. Then you'll need to take them to the vet to get cured (or cure them yourself!)
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
Vet is the only job, but they're able to do all sorts of stuff. Instead of making a bunch of linear roles, we gave that 1 job flexibility
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
Puppies and kittens won't get sick (strong young immune systems!)
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
Similar to Dine Out, you can visit an unowned vet clinic to get your pet treated by NPCs
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
Pets can give birth at home or any other lot, but there's no special gameplay for deliveries at a Vet Clinic :/ Sorry!
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
We didn't end up making major changes to Restaurants, since any time we spend there means less for Vet. It's a ruff development schedule!
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
Much like in real life, you won't get a heads-up that your pet is sick, but their behavior might change. We don't force you to go to the vet
— SimGuruEmory (@SimGuruEmory) October 25, 2017
