Yes, base game is required for all DLC content
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) September 29, 2017
Pre order means you get Perfect Patio Stuff for free. If you buy the deluxe party edition you get to play on the 14th instead of the 17th
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) September 29, 2017
It is possible BUT supporting pc mods on console is difficult. We have no plans right now to support this.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) September 30, 2017
Sadly just PS4 and Xbox One. The current generation of hardware has allowed us to bring all the pc gameplay to life on the console for the first time ever.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) September 30, 2017
It was a tough call. We decided to focus our efforts on other things. We wanted all PC gameplay. We wanted to have DLC support. Those firsts meant not doing gallery for launch.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) September 30, 2017
It is possible, but to be clear, we have no plans at this time of supporting it.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 1, 2017
Yes, the my library feature from pc is intact so you can save and reuse your favorite creations
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 1, 2017
They will launch with base game! We are working hard on them now to be ready in time 🙂
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 3, 2017
It is always hard to choose. We will get to it as soon as we can. Definitely an awesome pack!
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 3, 2017
Yes! Those who own deluxe party edition will be able to buy and use the extra DLC 3 days early as well!
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 3, 2017
Assuming you mean satisfaction points? Yes, the same cheat as pc. It will disable trophy/achievement though.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 3, 2017
No, we are not adding new ones with each pack.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 3, 2017
Console will not support those challenges at launch.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 3, 2017
I'm fairly certain they will be released individually, but I'll tag @SimGuruDuke just in case I'm wrong 🙂
— SimsRIP 🎃 (@SimsVIP) October 4, 2017
You can buy individual or bundle on the same date. It is up to you 🙂
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 4, 2017
It is the same gameplay. Some changes were required overall but we want console players to get the same gameplay as pc. Play where you prefer is our goal.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 4, 2017
It will be available in both formats
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 5, 2017
No plans for a CAS Demo. You can try the console game for free though on Xbox if your an EA Access member starting November 9.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 8, 2017
For the most part yes. We removed a few pc specific cheats but tried to keep as much as possible in tact. A few cheats our now gates behind testingCheats on console but all names match pc to keep things simple
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 8, 2017
Vegetarian was part of City Living as I recall. So it will be on console with that pack. I don’t think we made a Vegan trait. I think that is from a mod which means it will not be on console.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 8, 2017
There is no bundle with base game currently. It is a bundle of 3 DLC packs
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 9, 2017
The base game has 50 achievements/trophies to earn
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 9, 2017
No. The DLC is sold separately just like PC.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 10, 2017
The expansion will not be a disc. It is a digital download only.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 10, 2017
DLC is digital only
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 10, 2017
It is a separate download. Depending on where you pre order you will get a code via email, or on your receipt.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 10, 2017
Yes, you will need internet to download but not to play.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 10, 2017

— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 10, 2017
PC stations are coming to console 🙂
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 11, 2017
Digital only
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 11, 2017
Yes. A la carte or as a bundle
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 11, 2017
Just like PC. You could create one for every lot in each world and play all of them. You could create more and save to library as well.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 11, 2017
With the base game 🙂
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 11, 2017
@SimGuruDuke will my progress from the 10 hour ea trial go over to the main game upon release date or do I have to start a new file??
— Spinner (@BadBoySpinner) October 10, 2017
All progress will carry over
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 11, 2017
I have been assured it will unlock on the 14th 🙂
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 12, 2017
No plans currently
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 12, 2017
It is possible sure, but having played that way in our early days, I don’t recommend it. Try what we did build and let me know if you still think that is better
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 12, 2017
This is a brand new approach. We took ideas from previous console games though
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 13, 2017
~12GB
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 13, 2017
No cc on the console
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 13, 2017
We have no plans for that. We are still building new content for the game so we are a long way from having a get everything at once edition if it ever happened
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 13, 2017
You can open the cheat menu by holding down L2, L1, R2, R1 all at once. Then you can type cheats in just like PC
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 13, 2017
Yes
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 14, 2017
No, we do not support direct control on TS4.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 14, 2017
No. It will not be available with the trial version
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 14, 2017
Prices will match pc pricing
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 14, 2017
Nope. DLC will work with any version of the base game. The DLC must be downloaded though.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 14, 2017
I can’t say never, but we have no plans for supporting a disc based DLC right now
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 15, 2017
Yes, you will be given a code or be granted the entitlement by first party depending on who you order from. You don’t have to play on launch day.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 15, 2017

— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 15, 2017

— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 15, 2017
It is available on disc starting November 14 for deluxe, 17th for standard edition
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 17, 2017
No. We are rearranging the order of release for console to try and give players the most requested content sooner.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 19, 2017
Our intent is to bring all the packs over time
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 19, 2017
It will not be supported at launch but it is possible over time. I want to hear from you all once you have been hands on.
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 19, 2017
Yes. We got it 🙂
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 21, 2017
Visual quality is a match. We use the same assets. Code is console dependent though
— Michael Duke (@SimGuruDuke) October 21, 2017
