With all the Sims 4 Cats & Dogs information being released today, there are some new bits of information regarding the game that will be of interest to you!
Thanks to information from Sims Online, DotSim and Iron Seagull, we now know that there’s a new Woohoo Spot, two new Sim Skills, new Lot Traits, new Collectibles and Harvestables, and some new achievements coming with the game.
1) Game Achievements – The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion comes with brand new game achievements. The following achievements have been added:
- Get 25 followers on Simstagram
- Get 250 followers on Simstagram
- Get 1500 followers on Simstagram
Simstagram is a new social media option available to Sims in the game.
2) Lot Traits – There are 5 new lot traits coming with the Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack. Keep in mind these have been translated from Polish, so this is not the exact trait wording.
- Training Spot – Dogs train faster on this lot
- Cat Friendly – More cats appear on this lot
- Dog Friendly – More dogs appear on this lot
- Dog Spot – More dogs and dog satisfaction bonus
- Cat Spot – More cats and cat welcome bonus
3) New Sim Skills – There are two new skills for Sims included with The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack: Vet Skill, and Training Skill.
4) New Woohoo Spot – Sims will be able to Woohoo inside the lighthouse that is visible in many images and video of Brindleton Bay.

5) New Collectibles – The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs brings a new type of “Feather” collectible to the game. When Cats & Dogs chase birds in the world, they will sometimes leave behind small “feathers” from these animals. Sims can pick up these feathers to complete the collection of feathers. Collecting all feathers will yield an “Owl Statue”.
6) New Harvestables – Sims will be able to find and collect new Herb Plants throughout the world. Giving these herbs to pets will change their behavior, depending on what you give them. The following herbs can be found and collected:
- Catnip – Catnip will boost your cats energy making them insanely hyper!
- Madnip – Madnip will make your cats enraged with pure anger!
- Napnip – Napnip will help calm your cat and put them to sleep.
- Nuzzlenip – Nuzzlenip will make your cat friskier than usual.
