SimGuruLyndsay released a statement addressing skin tone representation for The Sims 4 back on August 10th. In the video she assured players that current cosmetic issues with skin tones are in the works, and that Maxis is looking to add additional skin tones to the game to address the lack of representation.
The announcement of The Sims 4 Star Wars Journey to Batuu Game Pack has players concerned that Maxis has not prioritized this issue, and many are asking for answers and updates to this problem. Today, SimGuruLyndsay confirmed that The Sims team will be sharing news about this in the next few weeks.
