OFFICIAL LEAK: Maxis to Introduce “Kit Packs” to The Sims 4

With today’s Sims 4 Game Patch comes an official leak from Maxis! In the latest game files for The Sims 4, a new type of pack for the game has appeared, called a “Kit”. Not only are there official descriptions on what these kits are going to be, there appears to be a set of 3 kits that will be released when EA decides to announce this. Here are the first details on the new kit packs that will be coming to The Sims 4:

The first set of packs will be The Sims 4 Bust the Dust Kit, The Sims 4 Country Kitchen Kit, and The Sims 4 Throwback Fit Kit. There are no further details on how Maxis will market or sell these new types of packs, but it appears that these are meant to be smaller than Sims 4 Stuff Packs. Is this Maxis introducing microtransactions to The Sims 4? We shall see!
