I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry about this. 😆 A few hours ago, Grant Rodiek was answering loads of questions on Twitter, and threw out a few facts on the game. One giant eye opener for me was the confirmation of Ambitions being The Sims 3’s version of Sims 2 Open for Business.
I don’t see how adding “Rabbit Hole” type Careers with quests even compares to an Open Business. Or, as he said, “their version”. In my opinion, adding (10 level) careers to a game does not compare to the ability of creating and managing a neighborhood business.
Sure, it added a functional Firehouse, but was their idea of an open business the “Buy Mode” Architect career? Does this mean there is no hope for open, functional, controllable businesses in Sims 3? And here I was thinking that EA had an OFB EP or at least plans to open rabbit holes in the future…
