The opening time and date of the contest is Friday 8th March 2013 at 00:01 GMT, and the closing date and time for receipt of entries is Sunday 17th March 2013 at 23:59 GMT. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.
1. This competition is open to EU residents aged thirteen (13) and over only. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of “Electronic Arts” (“EA”) (“Promoter”), their agents and anyone connected to this competition are not eligible to enter. Subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Rules to participate
To enter entrants must have purchased The Sims™ 3 base game and The Sims 3 University Life (“University Life”) expansion pack.
Entrants must send one (1) in-game screen shot of a party scene created using University Life, to the following e-mail address: [email protected]. Party screens must include items from the University Life expansion pack. Screen shots must be captured from a computer screen and not from any other device (for example, it cannot be a camera phone picture of a computer screen)
The winning screen will be determined by level of creativity, artistic direction and good use of specific University Life pack in-game features such as a juice keg, fancy dress, dorms, university mascot, campus background etc.
Each entrant may enter the Contest one (1) time during the Contest Period. Submissions received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limit will be void.
Contest will be judged by two EA members of staff Judges’ will base their decision on the listed criteria. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
There will be one (1) winner. The winner will receive a The Sims 3 University LIfe branded jacket, as picture below:
The winner and two (2) runners up will be required to sign an Assignment of Rights.
There are no alternatives to these prizes. They are as stated and are non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of EA, EA is unable to provide the stated prizes, EA reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. Any taxes due on the prize will be paid by the winner.
