Learning the Mixology Skill

All (adult) Sims are able to make drinks at the bar. Once you use the “Make Drink” interaction, your Sim will automatically advance to level 1 of the Mixology Skill. Sims can learn the Mixology skill by using a bar, or by reading the Mixology skill books. Sims can even use the town’s local bar to raise this skill.

As Sims continue to gradually raise their Mixology Skill, they will unlock brand new performance interactions and drink recipes. The easiest way to level up this skill is by reading up on Mixology through the skill books.

Although using tricks when making drinks is fun optics, not all tricks are successful. Sims who play with tricks on a low level Mixology Skill may fail the trick and fumble the barware.
