@LuckyLunayre There's no new skill in Spooky Stuff. New gameplay includes pumpkins, spooky candy bowl, new party interactions, + a bit more.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@knewt93 Yes indeed, Spooky Stuff is a $10 pack. Kids can take part in nearly all of the content in the pack – it's great fun for them!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@SimsWorld_IT No. Spooky Stuff is centered around pumpkins, the spooky candy bowl, a new party with new interactions/recipes, + a bit more!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@catloverplayer @LuckyLunayre Thanks CLP – nothing beats the classic pumpkin 😉 Just one of many carving styles in the pack!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@LuckyLunayre Absolutely. We tried to take special care with this, and even went back and fixed some old assets (hot dog hats anyone?)
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@siguiendomuchoa No cemeteries in Spooky Stuff. New gameplay includes pumpkins, spooky candy bowl, new party interactions, + a bit more.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@CuriousCheeze @LuckyLunayre Happy to share more – fun things like three new recipes, paintings that change if you watch them…
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@CuriousCheeze @LuckyLunayre …ghosts with pumpkin heads, tombstones that emit ground cover fog, Sims sharing treats with each other…
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@CuriousCheeze @LuckyLunayre Lots of little details in the pack that make it a rich, well-rounded experience!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@RizaBarkah Hey Riza – you don't have to celebrate Halloween to have fun with this pack, just have an appetite for some scares.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@RizaBarkah That said, stuff packs are a place where we can focus on a niche for people who want a very particular piece of content.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@PattonKieran If your Sim has high handiness skill & creates a masterwork level pumpkin, the pumpkin is infused with the Sim's emotion…
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@PattonKieran …when it's carved. The aura is off by default, but can be turned on to indeed make a sad (or other emotions) pumpkin.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@RoancrousRoan No trick or treating in Spooky Stuff, but Sims can ask for treats at spooky parties, and may end up getting pranked instead.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
For those asking, you'll be able to click on your Sim and select the costume you want them to wear during a Spooky Party.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
You can fully customize your costume for the Spooky Party by creating a new party outfit from the dresser and having them wear that instead.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@nerdy_zach There's 1 new hair for girls with a princess tiara. Mostly though the pack comes with new hats that compliment all the costumes.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@drv687 We didn't change the existing costume party – that's a bit outside the scope of the work we do on stuff packs.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@drv687 It's a good thought for us to revisit though if people come to enjoy that new functionality in Spooky Stuff.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@Mhmd_Yassir No new emotion; Spooky Stuff is more of a fun scary than actually terrifying. There are a few jump scares that make Sims tense.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@Vane_Sims Pumpkins aren't a new harvestable. The new recipes include Spooky Cookies, Cheese Eyeballs, and a Zombie Cake (it's the best!)
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@Mrs_Pawluk The new girls hairstyle always has the tiara. It's not overly fancy; you can use it without the princess costume.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@RodrigoKKDVK Hey Rodrigo, the pumpkins are not a new harvestable type. When you want to carve a pumpkin, you use the carving station.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@FilipKotula Awesome 🙂 I've had so much fun getting ghosts to do silly things while wearing pumpkins as we worked on Spooky Stuff!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@catloverplayer Cooking skill level 2 if I remember correctly.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
.@catloverplayer I'm glad you asked! There is new music added to the Spooky Station when you install Spooky Stuff!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@jaysim89 For me, it's ghosts wearing pumpkins on their heads. So much random fun. Two pumpkin ghosts woohooing in a hot tub… disturbing.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@SimsVIP No new ghosts or deaths – the unique new part in Spooky Stuff for ghosts is wearing any of the carved pumpkins on their head.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@SimsVIP When a ghost walks around inside a dark home at night with a lit pumpkin on their head it looks incredible!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
.@SimmingFan3000 Spooky Stuff includes tattered furniture, new walls and floors, and cobwebs that will help with a haunted house build.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@AhmedKallala They weren't hiding inside it, that's how they enter and exit the pumpkins when wearing them! They can also possess pumpkins.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@greenman917 Yes and yes.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@TheSimplyNando Sure thing… sell the carving station, sell pumpkins, sell the candy bowl, sell a zombie cake… go wild!
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@HarryIsSoBasic Most of the costumes are full body. Many also include additional pieces like shoes, stockings, hats, accessories, etc.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@PattonKieran @drv687 Guests carve pumpkins, exchange candy, enjoy new recipes & spooky music, have new social interactions, & new costumes.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
@SimsExperiencia No, they may choose to put on one of the pumpkins on your lot, or you can direct your own ghosts to wear a pumpkin anytime.
— Graham Nardone (@SimGuruGraham) September 23, 2015
