Retail Therapy

‘Tis the season to spend simoleons!  The snow is falling, and so are bank account balances as Sims seek out the perfect little something for the ones they care for.  Explore each of these unique shopping centers and fill up on the things that will brighten holiday celebrations.  Each location is custom content free and available in the Gallery.  Enjoy!

 

1. The Old Christmas Shop by Simmie99, §94,024

Traditional Christmas celebrants will love the low key charm of this complete shopping center and coffee house.  The first floor has a clothing and specialty shop and restrooms.  The second floor has a coffee bar, children’s clothing sales and enchanting toy shop with puppet theater and bookcase.  The grounds have a wishing well, twinkle lit tree with seating area, and a mock Christmas tree sales lot.

2. Santas’ Village & Market by Sathiny, §117,235

Waltz through a veritable winter wonderland in this Christmas shopping mall.  The lot type is listed as unknown, so when playing one can switch the lot type to retail and enjoy shopping and dining.  The main building features a Santa cottage with fireplace, bookcase, and kitchenette.  The next two buildings are restrooms.  The shops are next to the restrooms and include a clothing/accessory store, toy store, coffee shop, and cafe.

3. Christmas Toy Shop by Simproved, §189,175

Snow covered rooftops and an enormous Christmas tree captures the imagination of everysim that stops to shop for the children they know (or the child within).  The first floor has a mailbox to collect letters for Santa, a huge selection of toys, and an office with a computer, fireplace, and bar, and restrooms are located on each side of the building.  The second floor is open to the first with even more incredible toy displays.  The living quarters of the owner can be found here and include a bed and kitchenette.

4. Window Shopping by RABOOSKI, §232,262

All aboard the shopping train!  Ride into a fun experience by being part of the fantastic interactive window display and help draw in the crowds!  The first floor has an incredible shopping area with clothing, shoes, and much more, and restrooms.  The second floor holds the shopping area for children’s clothes and furniture, as well as a seat and ropes for greeting Santa.

5. Little Shopping Mall by FrancescaThona, §253,146

A little mall with big retail choices includes six shops; floral, collectibles, art and home decor, clothing, books, electronics, a bakery with cupcake maker, and cafe with indoor seating plus balcony seating on the second floor.

6. The Spice Market by folala, §358,418

An impressive structure, this mall offers practically everything a Sim could desire.  The first floor holds a food court with several food vendors and many independent sales stands.  The store list is as follows: antiques/decor, aquarium, jewelry, bubble maker hangout, books, bubble maker lounge, clothing, and art.  The second floor has a bar with foosball, darts, game table, bar, and bathrooms, plus a photography studio with computer and tablets, electronics store, and storage area.  The third floor has an additional food court with five food vendor stalls and picnic tables; the other side offers a coffee bar with full kitchen, plenty of seating and restrooms.

7. Santa’s Shop (Daytime) by HazardInHeaven, §367,173

For those craving copious Christmas cheer, this shop delivers!  The first floor has an open floor plan with a selection of shopping areas; coffee bar, books, and collectible toys.  The center platform is an excellent photo op for the entire family.  The second floor is open to the first and holds the restrooms, a game table, and additional shopping areas; perfumes, creative toys and instruments, and plushies.

8. Shopping District by themcgfamily, §379,936

A trolley runs through the center of this timeless district.  The lot is divided into four major sections.  The first is an outdoor entertainment area with DJ booth, bar, chocolate fountain, vending machines, two half baths, and lots of seating.  A tea food vendor offers refreshment in front of the second building which holds a cafe with coffee bar on the first floor and on the second floor an open floor plan apartment including living area with computer, bookcase, fireplace, and television, an eat-in kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.  The road directly behind the trolley features a guitar/violin busking platform and garage graffiti door.  The third building first floor has a comic/bookstore on one side, and a music store on the second.  The second floor has an open floor plan apartment with eat-in kitchen area, living area with television, fireplace, and computer, plus bedroom.  Behind this building, there’s a gaming area with game tables, chess boards, a food vendor, and picnic tables.  The fourth building is a restaurant with bar on the first floor and an ice cream parlor on the second floor.  The fifth building holds a relaxing spa with massage tables on the first floor, and a computer bar/electronics store on the second floor.

9. shopping district by GAMINGNACHOS57, §471,815

With the feel of a city block, this series of eight buildings blends together seamlessly and is filled with interesting and fun details that establish realism.  The first building has a cafe on the first floor, with an office complex with computers and coffee maker on the second floor.  The second building has a photography shop on the first floor, and a back entrance leading to a private apartment on the second floor.  The apartment includes a living area with television, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.  The third building first floor has a bakery with kitchenette on the first floor and a studio apartment with kitchen, living area with television and computer, bed, and bathroom on the second.  The fourth building holds a high end clothing store on the first floor, and an apartment with kitchen and bedroom on the second floor (most of this apartment is being used for storage…love the details!).  The two blocks are separated by an alley with food vendors, space for graffiti, a basketball hoop, and a keyboard.  The fifth building begins the second block and has a produce/grocery store on the first floor and an office with bookcase on the second floor.  The sixth building first floor holds a furniture store with an art and photography studio with camera, easels, and art storage on the second floor.  The seventh building has an empty store space on the first floor, and a studio apartment with hide-a-bed, television, kitchen area and bath area.  The eighth building is a private residence and includes a living room with television, half bath, and an eat-in kitchen on the first floor.  The second floor has a bathroom, master bedroom, and a child’s room with voidcritter battle station, toy box, and bookcase.

10. Winter Shopping Village by LostMyTurtles, §573,659

A well-lit Christmas tree is the centerpiece of this delightful setting.  The distinct buildings each house a different shop; the first building adjacent to the gazebo has a small pub with half bath on the first floor, and an apartment on the second floor with a kitchen, living area with fireplace and bookcase, and two bedrooms.  The second building has a tea room serving baked goods in the first half of the first floor with an alternate bakery/cafe in the second half.  An apartment including living area with television, dining area, kitchen, bathroom, child’s bedroom, and master bedroom with bookcase, easel, and art storage is on the second floor.  The third building holds a clothing store on the first floor and a studio apartment with stereo, television, and computer on the second floor.  The fourth building features a winter wonderland themed backdrop for the perfect holiday photo.  The fifth building is the bookstore in half, the other half an apartment with bedroom, kitchen area, and living area with television, and the second floor is three studio apartments; each has a kitchen, bedroom, and living area.  Two of them have televisions and one with television and computer.  The sixth building holds a Christmas snow globe store and cafe on the first floor with studio apartment on the second floor.  The seventh building holds a collectible toy shop on the first floor and an apartment with bedroom, bath, living area, and kitchen on the second floor.  The eighth building includes a coffee shop cafe on the first floor, and on the second floor a studio apartment including living area with fireplace, television, and bookcase, bathroom, and kitchen area.
