This mod adds a ton of new gameplay, including a new Simstagram Skill, Fame Levels, Interactions, Buffs, and much more! We reached out to Sacrificial and asked him to give readers a chance to learn all about this mod, so he broke it down in detail for us. The Sims 4 Road To Fame Mod will give Your Sims the opportunity to become famous and live their lives under the spotlight. The mod features new gameplay opportunities that will change the way Your sims will live their daily lives.

- New Ways To Earn Money
Once You install the mod You’ll have access to a new menu called “Road To Fame” available by clicking on Your sim, and inside of it You’ll find the new “Simstagram” skill menu. Your sim can start by creating their Simstagram account which will give them access to new interactions linked to the skill. Your sim will unlock new interactions upon leveling up the “Simstagram” skill.
You’ll have options like “Take A Selfie For Simstagram” “Respond To Comments” “Take A Selfie With A Sim” and a various different other interactions, all of these interactions will increase Your Simstagram followers and will bring You a step closer to becoming famous.
Once Your Sim reaches 100K Simstagram followers, They will start getting offers from small companies that Your sim can fulfill in order to get a money reward. The offers get bigger as Your sim gains more Simstagram followers or fame.
Your sim will gain their first level upon reaching 1 Million Simstagram followers & will start getting noticed in the street by their fans and the paparazzi. The fans will scream Your Sim’s name, take photos/videos of Your Sim and the paparazzi will snap photos of Your famous Sim.
You can do multiple things to Your fans in order to gain more fame & love from the world including:
- Signing autographs
- Giving them hugs
- Giving them a kiss
and other interactions that You will find once You click on them, You can also choose to be rude to Your fans which will decrease Your fame & have You lose the fans that You’ve been rude to.
You will also find special interactions once You click on the paparazzi including
- Striking Poses
- Answering The Paparazzi’s Questions
Once Your sim reaches their first level They’ll be able to host Meet & Greet events where ever they want which will bring a big crowd of fans and paparazzi to Your sim’s location.
Your sim will have goals to fulfill and will get rewarded with simoleons upon earning the “Bronze,Silver,Gold” medals.
Once Your sim reaches Level 3 of fame they will start getting more noticed in public by their fans and the paparazzi where ever they go and they’ll have a chance of them hanging out around the celebrity sim’s house!
Being more famous also gives You benefits with Your friendship & romantic relationships as it will progress faster the more famous Your sim is. It will also help you with your career performance & You’ll progress much faster once You are more famous.
Future updates of the mod will introduce more skills/careers/npcs and the one planned next is the modeling career.
How To Install:
Extract the zip file to Your “The Sims 4” Mods folder, then delete the zip file & “How To Install.txt”
Extract the zip file anywhere You want then copu “TS4_Road To Fame -MOD-” folder and put it in Your mods folder
❗ Don’t create new sub folders to put the files in them as it won’t work.
Make sure that custom content & script mods are enabled in the game’s options, a game restart
might be required after enabling them
Compatibility : Requires base game only, except for the manual photos and selfies option which requires “Get To Work” expansion pack.
Update: 09/12/2017 – PC Version 18.104.22.1680 / Mac Version 22.214.171.1240 It should work with previous patches too down to “Toddlers” Patch.
