There’s a new quest in The Sims Mobile! The Space Explorer Career Event is now available for a limited time, giving players 4 days to complete the necessary steps that will reward them with the “Space Explorer Career” reward. To unlock the main event quests, you will first have to complete a quick quest that unlocks the Space Explorer Career quest.
To complete this preliminary quest, click on a Sim you know and select the “It’s Just Rocket Science” event. Once you complete this action, you’ll unlock the main event quests.
To begin the event that helps you unlock the Space Explorer Career, select the “Quests” tab on the right side of your screen. If you do not see the “Space Explorer Career” quest, make sure your game is up to date and restart your game.
To complete the Space Explorer Career Event, you’ll have to complete 19 individual quests in the game. You will receive rewards along the way, and be rewarded the “Space Explorer Career” and Heirloom once you complete the final quest. Below is the list of quests (in the order they appear) that you need to complete, along with rewards and requirements.
How to Complete Each Quest (Info)
Tapping the info button on each quest lets you know what you need to do to complete each task. To access the special events, click the “blue” interactions found on Sims you know.
- Quest #1 – Tap on a bed and complete the “Dream of Space” interaction
- Quest #2 – Tap on a loveseat/sofa and complete the “Read About Space” interaction
- Quest #3 – Tap on 3 Sims you know and select the “Ask about UFO’s” interaction.
- Quest #4 – Complete events to earn 650 Simoleons.
- Quest #5 – Go to any district, tap on an outdoor bench, and complete the “Observe Something in the Sky” interaction.
- Quest #6 – Complete LlamaZoom tasks. (Returns every 4 hours)
- Quest #7 – Tap on a Sim you know and complete the “It’s Just Rocket Science” event.
- Quest #8 – Tap a Desk/Table to complete the “Apply for Training Program” interaction.
- Quest #9 – Tap on a Sim and complete the “Get in Shape” event.
- Quest #10 – Complete LlamaZoom tasks. (Returns every 4 hours)
- Quest #11 – Tap a Desk/Table 5 times and “Fill Out More Paperwork”
- Quest #12 – Complete LlamaZoom tasks. (Returns every 4 hours)
- Quest #13 – Tap on a Sim and complete the “Get in Shape” event.
- Quest #14 – Complete LlamaZoom tasks. (Returns every 4 hours)
- Quest #15 – Tap on a Sim you know and complete the “It’s Just Rocket Science” event.
- Quest #16 – Tap a mirror and complete the “Practice Interview Answers” interaction.
- Quest #17 – Tap on a Sim and complete the “Get in Shape” event.
- Quest #18 – Complete LlamaZoom tasks. (Returns every 4 hours)
- Quest #19 – Tap on a Sim you know and complete the “It’s Just Rocket Science” event.
Once you have completed all quests for this event, you’ll unlock the special Rockin’ Rocket Heirloom. This allows you to then go on and unlock the Space Explorer Career. You can find the heirloom in your Sim’s inventory.
Unlocking the Space Career Option
Once you’ve completed the quests and unlocked the Space Explorer Career heirloom, you can then head over to the Waterfront District and unlock the new career. Head over to the Science Center and go into build mode. From there, select the “Space Explorer Career” collection and place the special “Observatory” object. This unlocks the career for selection.
Once you have finished the bit, you can click the observatory and join the new career. This career has its own special Story Chapters that allow Sims to unlock additional rewards.
