SimGuruLyndsay announced today that SimGuruFrost has been designated the new public community manager for The Sims. Lyndsay and Frost took to Twitter with the following:
Hello Simmers! I’d like to welcome @SimGuruFrost to our TS4 community team. He will be taking on community management and working with our game changers program. He joins us from @TheSimsMobile team and we’re happy to have him!

In addition to designating Frost as the Community Manager for The Sims, SimGuruLyndsay also clarified that SimGuruKate is still working for Maxis and The Sims 4 behind the scenes.
I can also add that @SimGuruKate is moving into a different role with The Sims 4 community and development teams. She will be working behind the scenes to continue bringing announcements & Maxis monthly content to you.

It is unclear what her new official title is, but it appears that she is still handling community management as a non-public figure. SimGuruKate has not been publicly active since March 6th when inappropriate conduct was reported within The Sims Game Changer program.
