EA has announced that the Maxis Studio is officially moving the development of The Sims Mobile over to the Firemokeys Studio. With years of experience and development with The Sims FreePlay, Firemonkeys will work with Maxis for a smooth transition. Content updates will be delayed during this time, but Maxis assures players that there’s more to come.
Once the announcement was made, numerous Sims Mobile gurus announced that they will now transition over to The Sims 4 development team, or have updated their Twitter bios to reflect their move over to the new studio.
