Sims 4 News and Game Guides
EA has a Live Flickr photo-stream going, and we happen to see a photo go up with the first images of Pets in Create a Sim. Here is the image that has been put up. I opened the largest image on flickr and took a few screens of them up close. (a bit blurry)
Amazon has listed two versions of the Sims 3 Pets for sale on the PC/MAC platforms. They have The Sims 3 Pets @ $39.95 and The Sims 3 Pets Special Edition @ $49.95. Does this mean the Special Edition will have extra content? Is this a different bundle? Hopefully a photo goes up soon, along with more info.
There is also an expected release release date of October 31st, 2011 for both. Now that is a Monday, so perhaps it’s a day off? Not sure but we’ll have to wait and see.

Each platform brings a new world for players to explore from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions where players will unlock achievements by solving mysteries around town, the Nintendo 3DS with new lots to unlock to the PC/Mac version where they’ll be able to take their pets on play dates or meet other Sims at the dog park, cat jungles and even a horse ranch.
Now a “new world” can be interpreted in different ways, one being the game brings “a whole new light” for players (as far as interactions & gameplay go) or indeed a new neighborhood. I’m hoping for the latter!
Update: I took these shots of RiverView which look similar to the background shown in the trailer. Just a thought.. I believe some have forgot that Riverview is a “farm town”, and they may have used Riverview in the trailer 😉 I do hope we get a new town though. 🙂

In the world of the Sims much good stuff is possible. But why of all the beloved pets so far found little attention, a little surprised. The extension simply animal “for” The Sims 3 “corrected this situation and puts the player in the role of the furry four-legged friends. That it can be as a house cat or dog very pleasant to live, would underline the majority of animal owners. The Sims 3 website has put up a dedicated page just for the Sims 3 Pets. Shows features from all platforms as well. It also let’s players know what exclusive pre-order content they will receive per platform. PC/MAC will also include Lizards, Snakes, Turtles & Birds.
Console versions will receive 10 exclusive & unique breeds breeds, including the Tiger Retriever & Skunk Birman.
PC versions will receive the Pet Store (which is not a rabbit hole btw!) loaded with unique items. Head over to the official dedicated page and take a look! Sims3.com/Pets Make sure to click on the grey doggy to the right! 😉
Many of you already know I have been in *awe* 
since this morning’s Pets announcement. Pets is my favorite expansion and has been since the original Sims. This is a photo of a dog collar posted by SimGuruGraham over on Twitter. If anyone comes across this swag, please oh please let me know where I can get it. ♥ ♥ ♥
Yes! I’ve been waiting for it to show up all day. The Sims 3 has listed the 5th Expansion Pack on the website. Check it out here. They have also opened up a forum section.
