New Interactive Objects
The Sims 4 Luxury Party Stuff includes brand new interactive objects: The Buffet Table and The Fountain of Mirth. These objects add additional gameplay to the game, and include some new Food and Drink Recipes. The Buffet Table allows Sims to serve 5 new food recipes, and the Fountain of Mirth allows Sims to serve 7 new drinks and fondue. Click the table or fountain to serve.
❗ Sims who increase their Cooking and Mixology Skills will unlock new Fondue and Fountain Drinks.
❗ The Sausage & Peppers recipe has been added as an option to the Outdoor Grill. The Ceviche & Chips, Vegetable Tempura, and Almond Macaroons recipes have been added to the Oven/Fridge.
❗ The Roast Chicken that is available with the Buffet Table is not new, however, it has become available immediately through the Buffet Table. The only other way to create the roasted chicken is to reach Level 10 of the Cooking Skill.
❗ Sims can serve any self-created food dishes in the game through the “Serve From Inventory” interaction. The food dish must be in a Sim’s inventory to be served.
❗ Sims with a Level 5 Cooking Skill can “Improve” drinks and fondue made at the fountain.
❗ Sims with a Level 4 Mischief Skill can “Add Something Extra” to the fountain contents. Drinking from the contaminated fountain will give Sims a 4-hour Uncomfortable moodlet. Sims who contaminate the fountain will not have the option to drink from it.
❗ Sims with the “Childish Trait” can “Taste Fountain’s Contents”. When selected, Sims will dip their hand into the fountain to “taste test” the fountain contents.
