Sims 3 Store: Drifter’s Desire Screens

Per request, I took a variety of screens showcasing the more realistic colors on this multi-colored set. I’m not the best color coordinator, so spare me the axe! :P

FYI: I know there are a few items missing, but there weren’t enough to make a “whole new scene”.

You did a good job! *thumbs up*

I love your recolours, in particular the gold/black bedroom – never noticed the lovely details on the bed before

    thanks for posting

Hate this set still keeping my fingers crossed for a modern furniture set L-shaped sofas ect & a Tudor england themed set (secretly wishing for a time travel expansion – stone age, tudor, victorian eras) can just see henry VIII marrying all the female sims n chopping their heads off or even better marrying a caveman then getting eaten by a pet dinosaur! :-)

Lol! That would be a good idea for The Sims Medieval.
Anyway, I did not like this set either, not because of the colors but because of the funiture design. I’m also hoping for EA to make a L-shaped sofa.

With the recolors this set almost looks tolerable.

  6. Thanks a lot ! With you recolors I can see that this set isn’t so ugly as I first thought :)

Ah, you did it! Thanks for doing the realistic recolors in addition to the colors as-is. :) This actually does look like a really nice set with the recolors — especially the bed. I’d buy the whole set if I had the SP, but for now I’ll probably get the bed and a couple of other items. (The window with the beads doesn’t quite fit in without another colorful thing or two in the room, but I’m probably going to get that for use in play areas / children’s bedrooms anyway.)

Argh… my eyes hurt by watching at the first picture. The recolors however look pretty convincing.
