We reached out to our contact at EA, and have received some more information regarding the recently announced Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. As it stands, if you have purchased a digital copy of The Sims 2, you will be eligible to receive the new collection. The game will include all EP’s and SP’s, and will appear in your game library soon.
• The game should be rolling out today to user accounts, and through the next few days (expected to be completed by early next week).
• It is valid for users who purchased and registered a digital version of The Sims 2.
• For any users who don’t receive The Ultimate Collection automatically to their account, they can contact a game adviser through our help site (http://help.ea.com/) to see if they qualify to have it added.
• Additionally, we don’t currently have plans to make the Ultimate Collection available for purchase, however we are still discussing options in regards to its availability.

The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection is going out to gamers right now. Everyone who had a digital copy of The Sims 2 will find the Ultimate Collection in their library within the next 5 days. Just log in to Origin and visit your My Games library.
I hear that you are no longer supporting The Sims 2. What does that mean?
