2008 saw the beginnings of a new pop superstar. Katy Perry’s ‘I Kissed A Girl’ topped the Billboard Top 100 chart for 7 weeks, followed by ‘Hot N Cold’ which reached #1 around the globe, and #3 on the Billboard chart.
Need You Now by Lady Antebellum
In 2010 Lady Antebellum brought ‘Need You Now’ to The Sims 3: Ambitions. This song alone won the country trio five Grammy awards!
Run Away With Me by Carly Rae Jepsen

Pressure by Paramore
Before the band became a household name with the commercial success of ‘Riot!’, Paramore collaborated with Electronic Arts to record a Simlish version of ‘Pressure’ from their debut album. This version of the song was featured only on The Sims 2 for consoles.
Fa Fa Fa by Datarock
While Datarock are not as popular as the other names listed, this song has appeared in The Sims 2: Freetime, in addition to The Sims 3 as a video on the Action World channel.
Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) by My Chemical Romance
Prior to the release of their fourth studio album, My Chemical Romance recorded a Simlish version of the lead single ‘Na Na Na’ to appear in The Sims 3: Late Night. You can find the song on the Indie station.

Last Friday Night by Katy Perry
