Here to kick off SimsVIP’s March Community Spotlight is YouTuber LovelySimmer! In a brief introduction below, Carly gives readers a chance to learn a bit more about what she does in the community. Take it away Carly!
Hello all! My name is Carly and I run the channel LovelySimmer on YouTube, and I am Lovely_Simmer on Twitter and I am also trying to get a Twitch Channel up and running at TheLovelySimmer11. On YouTube Speed Builds of both rooms, houses, and few community lots, I also do Let’s Plays, in fact at they moment they are my main focus but I also love to do the odd challenge here or there.
Another thing I really love to do are CAS(Creat-A-Sim) Videos. They are loads of fun! I won’t say what state I’m from but I am an American and I am 22.
I am also a history major at the college I go to! I am estatic that you have selected me for one of the community spotlights of March! It’s such an honor!
I first got into the Sims a long time ago, when I was about eight or nine years old. Originally I only played console versions because that was what I could get my hands on. I did play a little bit of the Original Sims, but I really got into Sims when it came to Sims 2 on both console and PC. I loved the game from the first time I played it but I never would have dreamed that it would lead to a YouTube channel! I love playing the game, and Sims 4 is definitely my favorite out of the series so far.
I am still relatively new to YouTube, my first Build was posted in December and it was a Christmas Cabin Build. From there things just took off. As I said before my main focus is Let’s Plays. Currently I am working on my Base Game Let’s Play, a Get to Work Let’s Play, and the Black Widow Challenge Let’s Play. I still do a couple of builds but I like having a goal in the game and completing it. I love doing my videos. They are a lot of fun and it gives me another focus besides school. I can’t believe how amazing and welcoming the community has been. It’s been just amazing to see my little channel slowly grow. It’s just such a great hobby for me.
So a little about me not related to Sims. I am engaged and getting married in May. I met my fiancé in high school and we’ve been together four years, almost five. I also have an auto-immune disease called Hashimotos Thyroiditis, so I get sick and overwhelmed really easily, so here and there I might miss a video or something.
That’s pretty much it about me and my channel. I know this is pretty short. I try to post a video every Monday, Wednesday, Fridays, and Saturdays. Thank you once again for having me on the March Spotlight! It’s such an honor!
