The Sims 4 Seasons: First Look at Game Options

SimGurus have showed off the new Game Options that directly affect Season Length, Rain options, Snow options, and Temperature Effects. These options will allow you to choose how long each season lasts, and what type of the additional seasonal effects are enabled.

❗ Changing the season length will move the calendar position of holidays/events.

• Season Length – 7 Days, 14 Days, or 28 Days
• Rain Options – Rain and Thunderstorms, Rain, or None 
• Snow Options – Snow and Blizzards, Snow, or None 
• Temperature Effects – Select or Unselect. This option will enable/disable the seasonal effects on Sims. As an example, Sims won’t be affected by the cold if they say out in the cold too long when this option is disabled.
