SimGuruDuke announced today that The Sims team has decided to postpone the “legacy update” until further notice. This decision was made to allow all players the opportunity to purchase, download, and play The Sims 4 Island Living Expansion Pack.
A number of you have asked about the legacy edition. We have decided to postpone the legacy update for TS4 for now. All players will be able to buy and enjoy the Island Living Expansion Pack when it launches June 21.

Back in March, Maxis announced that players without a compatible PC would not be able to download any additional content after February 2019, but this is no longer the case. We will be sure to update you again once Maxis gives the community more information and a possible date for the release of this update
