The Sims team has released an official blog on The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Expansion.

It’s move-in day in Evergreen Harbor—The Sims™ 4 Eco Lifestyle Expansion Pack* is now available on PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation®4! Your Sim’s impact on their world is visible and tangible. You have the influence and power to really make a difference. So, how will you play to change?

Even the smallest choices can have a huge impact. If and how you choose to get involved matters, but it’s not just about power sources or Neighborhood Action Plans. It’s about how you engage with other Sims. It’s about how you come together to accomplish something. In your Sims community, you decide what role to take on—the eco-minded activist, the creative maker, the mischievous Sim playing in the trash… you can be whoever you want and make the world to match. You just might need a little help to get there. So, how will you play to change? Find out before you start playing when you take our eco lifestyle quiz!

That’s where your neighbors come in. Whether they’re complaining about the state of the neighborhood, offering you some of their spare materials, or just stopping by to help take out the trash, you’re less alone in this than you think. Share knowledge, projects, and laughs with the Sims around you. (And if they annoy you, well, feel free to vote for Roughhousing Encouraged at the voting board so you can start a fight whenever you want.)

Give yourself permission to inspire others and make changes, in and out of the game. And as you consider your options in The Sims, think about what you yourself can do for your world, too—the real one. Why limit your impact to Evergreen Harbor or Willow Creek?
