With today’s new blog post about The Sims 4 next Stuff Pack, Nifty Knitting, comes the confirmation that sims will have the option to craft onesies not only for toddlers, but also for babies. As SimGuruConor said:
We want Sims to be able to knit something for their whole family. Not only will Sims be able to knit Toddler Onesies, but Baby Onesies as well. So put your little grubworm in a handmade knitted outfit. I’m sure they’d thank us if they could! (And if they didn’t like it I’m sure they’d be polite about it.)
This will be the first time sims are going to be able to change their babies’ onesies. In fact, babies had never had anything new other than bassinets coming in a pack since The Sims 4 came out nearly six years ago. Time will tell if this is indicative of a much wanted babies overhaul for the base game. The Sims 4 Nifty Knitting is set to be released in the following months, though a a definite release date has not yet been announced.
If you were hoping that this means an update to babies was on the way, SimGuruSarah took to the official forums to confirm that is not happening. She did confirm that there are over a dozen options of onesies for babies though.
