Here to kick off SimsVIP’s August Community Spotlight is Sims 4 Community Builder and YouTuber Chrillsims! In a brief introduction below, Chrill gives readers a chance to learn a bit more about his work in the community. Take it away Chrill!
My name is Chrillsims but you can also call me Chrill. I’m one of the more older Youtuber that make Videos about The Sims. I started my Youtube Channel back in July, 2009 and have been active since then. I’m 24 years old, a Swedish dude and The Sims have been part of my life since 2000 when everything started.
I put hard work to every single video I make and I have always had a passion for houses and storytelling so my Youtube career started off with some house videos and everyone loved them, today I have almost 100 000 subs and do a lot of things, you can say I’m a Detective, Builder and Storyteller.
Last year I started a new show called Simfacts where I solve mysteries and making conspiracy theories but I also add real science and history to them.. my first episode is about the disappearance of Bella Goth.. one of The Sims greatest mysteries. I have also solved the Lord and lady Shallot mystery and many more.. they take me some time but they are worth it because I love making them and the feedback has been great.
My channel have always been a building channel and that is what most people know me as. I love to build much details.. my house videos is very different from everyone else because I add a storyline to the video itself and using this ”time lapse” technique which makes it look more professional. I put my houses in different families, ”Blockbuster” houses is one of the more famous ones.
You can say my entire channel is based on stories both my Houses and Simfact videos have storytelling.. but I have made a few separate Story videos as well.. not so many but I wanna add more in future.
and of course I do many let’s play and Let’s build videos as well. What I love about The Sims is that you can do so much more than just play the game.. and as I always say in the end ”My job is to make your sims happy” 😉
