Sims 4 News and Game Guides
Instead of offering the Crystal Ball as a separate item, the Sims team decided to pair it up with a set of hairstyles & outfits. If you have a spare 850 simpoints lying around, you can now grab the Crystal Ball, as a semi individual item. Check out The Soothsayers Crystal Ball Set.
Note that there are a few hairstyles that are not included in this set, which came with the originally released More Magic Set.

As many of you already know, I will be releasing a very detailed game guide for the upcoming expansion, The Sims 3 Showtime! I anticipate the guide being released March 4th, however this is a preliminary confirmation.
Among all the basic details of the game, the guide includes all 150(ish) Game Achievements, the achievement badges, Simport Information and the rewards available to unlock while using Simport.
I have detailed information regarding each of the new Showtime careers, the new interactive objects, as well as a variety of new gameplay and social options. The guide is going to be great! 🙂

Lifetime Happiness Rewards
Born to Cook (20,000) – Become a better chef without spending years slaving over a hot stove! Increase the quality and taste of your food!
Dusty Old Lamp (30,000) – This lamp can make all your wishes comes true with only a little polishing.
Engaging (10,000) – The audience will hang on the slightest movement or quietest whisper that you produce. Your successes on stage will be more prevalent, and your fails less significant.
ExtraordinAIRe-Inator (20,000) – The ExtraordinAIRe-Inator turns your house into a place of meditation. Relax into it’s fresh and soothing aromas.
Fearless Voyager (Simport) (20,000) – Sometimes you take a voyage. Sometimes the voyage takes you. Either way, it pays big to be fearless when going on tour via Simport.
Perfect host (Simport) (20,000) – You welcome your guest with open arms and accommodate their needs as if your life depends on it….and this doesn’t go unnoticed. Your Sim’s household will receive more money, as well as Lifetime Happiness points, when hosting a Sim through Simport.
That was Deliberate (15,000) – Turn a stumble into a well planned stride and a cracked voice into an operatic bellow. The audience is less likely to notice any mistakes that you may make while performing on stage.
What the title says! For 600 Simpoints, you can grab the Malleable Mimic Voodoo Doll or Lord Vladimir’s Magic Cauldron!

Probably you noticed I was off to the EA office in Cologne on Wednesday the 8th or February to see and play The Sims 3 Showtime. The event was very well Organized, it was at the office or EA but it had legs transformed into a lounge. The place was quite dark with green colors, there was a DJ booth and one big plumbob lamp. On one side of the room there was a big screen for the presentation of Michael Cox and on the other side there was a lounge place and some computers.
So we started off with a presentation and a demo by Michael Cox, the thing I found a bit weird Was that this demo is constantly Already Shown the live broadcast a couple weeks back. So no new information there. After this demo, we had the time to play the game ourselves. At first I went Quickly threw the game to see what was new and what I really needed to tell you. In this case, though, by “showtime” what’s meant is The Sims 3: Showtime — the next expansion for EA’s The Sims 3 franchise.
While there is much within Showtime that could be considered standard for a The Sims 3 expansion (jobs, items, town, etc.), it’s in how these additions are executed that make Showtime a bit different. Nowhere is this more prevelant than with the four jobs (three full-time and one part-time) with which Sims 3 players can become employed.
“Typically the careers will be done out of sight as you see [your Sims] go off to an office job and come out at five o’clock. [The developers] created active professions a couple of expansions ago and we really wanted to run with that in a new direction,” said The Sims 3 Senior Director Aaron Conners.

There is an upcoming Sims Playtest at EA’s Redwood Shores location, and if you or someone you know lives in California and would like a chance to test the game, fill out this survey. There is no mention of what game this is, however they are asking for Sims Fans specifically. 🙂 You are not guaranteed participation, but if you are selected, you will be compensated with an EA Game.
