With the announcement of The Sims 4 Seasons came plenty of questions! The Sims team is not currently answering many questions, or revealing details on features in the game, but some of them did take to Twitter and give us a little something until they can share more.
❗ SimGuruKate is currently taking questions for an upcoming Q&A, so if you have any questions to ask the team about Seasons, head over to this tweet and ask away!
A couple questions I can answer right now! @SimGuruGrant gave me great insight so send thanks his way.
1. There will be no new world because we wanted to focus entirely on making the existing worlds (and all their neighborhoods), as gorgeous as possible for all four seasons.

2. Yes, the new kiddie pools can be used by toddlers. In fact this was the primary reason for creating this wonderful object!

Another fun question I can answer right this moment! I can confirm that Teens, Young Adults, Adults, and Elders can all use the swing set as well!
— Kate🌷☀️🍂☃️ (@SimGuruKate) May 24, 2018
No new world. We focused on making sure all the current worlds have amazing and relevant weather and seasons.

To those asking if/when we will be livestreaming early looks at Seasons. We absolutely HOPE to be able to get at least one stream out before the EP is released, but we can't guarantee. With EA Play only two weeks away we have lots going on around that!

You can create your own holidays and set which season they happen in!
— Kate🌷☀️🍂☃️ (@SimGuruKate) May 24, 2018
Since you're able to create your own holiday, it would really rain on people's parades if you couldn't make Halloween 🙂
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) May 24, 2018
Yep! One of them is particularly…chilling.
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) May 24, 2018
Are you asking if lightning can kill Sims? It'd be a real buzzkill if it couldn't 🙂
— Emory (@SimGuruEmory) May 25, 2018
The moment at the end of the trailer has really caught many of your eyes.
This is not quite superpowers or magic, but something fun with lightning strikes. I don't want to say too much more or it would spoil the fun. @SimGuruGrant pic.twitter.com/vcQAHvyqtZ— Rebecca Doyle (@SimGuruRad) May 24, 2018
Fun Fact: Hobart (3D object modeler) has created the weather machine for TS2, TS3, and now TS4.

The Sims 4 has been so successful. The community is SO strong. We are thinking years out. We aren't going anywhere. https://t.co/BJVm5hou7u

Will future worlds also have seasons?
— calzoney (@calbacon123) May 24, 2018
Yes. Worlds will have appropriate weather. Otherwise…I'd have to go into witness protection. https://t.co/agHyMV1OQv

Sorry. One of the trade offs we had to make. We'll try to create more soon!
