Here to kick off our May Community Spotlight is talented builder, Cyberdoll! In a brief introduction below, Natalie gives readers a chance to learn a bit more about her work in the community. Take it away Natalie!
Hey Simmers! My name is Natalie and I’m a 27-year-old long time Simmer from a small town in northern Sweden. You might know me as Cyberdoll, the name I go by on YouTube, where I primarily upload speed builds but also some lookbooks and machinimas. I have been a gamer for as long as I can remember. I was first introduced to the Sims franchise by my cousin nearly 20 years ago, which being honest, feels pretty crazy to say now. Long story short, I have been hooked ever since!
My favorite aspect of the game is and has always been building. I don’t often “play the game”, I just build. But apart from building houses I never play in, the few times I do enter live mode, I quite enjoy the supernatural type of gameplay. My favorite packs of all time include makin’ magic, world adventures, and strangerville, so maybe that gives you an idea of what kind of simmer, and personality, I am.
In 2016 I uploaded my very first video on YouTube. This was during my summer break from university. I was bored and I needed a new hobby, something creative to fill my time. So, I decided to give YouTube a go. I never actually thought anyone would find my YouTube videos, let alone watch them. The channel was just meant to be a creative outlet just for myself. However, much to my surprise, things took off and the doll squad grew! <3 As I’m a builder at heart, speed builds have always been the focus on my channel.
To begin with I uploaded mostly regular house builds, but as time progressed, I got more creative with my builds. Today I upload a wide variety of different types of builds. Everything from your typical family homes, to horror sets, to cool community lots. I love to challenge myself! I love to build new things, try new styles and see how far I can take it with move objects. And who knows what my next build will be.
Apart from the Sims, I also play a lot of World of Warcraft, which is another game that has been a huge part of my life for many, many years. While not gaming I’m a pharmacist, a huge consumer of TV series and a massive sci-fi/ fantasy fan (so much so I have a lord of the rings tattoo, haha). I daydream a lot, have a favorite eyebrow and a super cute pet snake!

I would also like to give a massive thanks to all my supporters, you have made YouTube such a wonderful experience and I can’t now imagine my life without it and you guys. I love you all!
