If you’re an Origin Access subscriber and have yet to pick up The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff, you can now get it free of charge just by playing The Sims 4. Play the game by April 9th to receive your Stuff Pack reward. The pack will be added to your library after April 10th.
Seeking Alpha, the industry leader for investor insights and finances, has published a 15 page report on Electronic Arts. Keep in mind that Seeking Alpha primarily releases reports like this from a financial and investor standpoint (ie: stocks), but the article does go over several issues EA is facing with customer relations and micro transactions.
New laws around the world are affecting how EA is making money, which in turn is creating doubt about the ability for EA’s stock to appreciate. If anything, the article serves as insight to anyone thinking of purchasing (or shorting) EA Stock, but it also gives players a look at the state of EA from a financial standpoint.
For those who want to upgrade their PC membership experience, you’ll be happy to know that Origin Access Premier is now available! If you are already an Origin Access member, EA will refund the difference for the remainder of your subscription. The Premier version of Origin Access grants early access to games, extra content with new EA Games, and more.
Yearly membership is $99, and if you’re new to The Sims 4, you’ll have access to the new Sims 4 bundle set to release soon. The bundle includes the Digital Deluxe version of the base game, along with Dine Out and Kids Room Stuff. (bundle page here)
If you’re a current player of The Sims 4, and do not own the above stuff and game packs, you will also receive them as part of your membership. Note that upgrading to this version of the game will affect game saves. See here for more info.
With Origin Access Premier set to release on July 30th, EA has quietly removed “On the House” deals from their website. The original link now redirects to Origin Access, so we’ll just have to wait and see if EA revives these freebies in the future. EA’s Customer Support also confirmed that services ended this week, but EA has not officially confirmed or denied whether this is a glitch, or indeed a closure of this service which first launched in 2014.
During today’s EA Earnings Call, Andrew Wilson confirmed that Origin Access Premier will launch on July 30th, 2018. This new membership tier brings the latest games to players, and will cost $14.99/month or $99/year. More details on the program here.
This subscription will also include a new version of The Sims 4 called The Sims 4 “Premier Edition”. This version of the game will grant access to The Sims 4 Dine Out Game Pack, and The Sims 4 Kids Room Stuff Pack.
Popular city building game Cities Skylines, is now available on Origin. You can play the full game for free through the Origin Access Game Vault, or purchase the games directly.
Origin has added The Sims 4 Seasons Expansion Pack to their “Build a Bundle” offer! If you need an additional stuff and game pack to complete your collection, head over to this page to save $20 on your custom Sims 4 Bundle.

We will have to wait until the membership launches to see whether or not the early access perk will be extended to future games in The Sims 4, but EA has confirmed a 5 day early access benefit for members of Origin Access Premier.
At today’s EA Play Press Conference, EA CEO Andrew Wilson announced that EA will bring a new subscription service to Origin called Origin Access Premier coming to Origin later this year. According to Andrew, this subscription will bring members ALL of EA’s new PC Games starting with Madden NLF, FIFA 19, Battlefield V, and Anthem.

You can create a bundle that’s a combination of one of each Pack type: Expansion, Stuff, and Game Packs.

I don’t own the base game
If you don’t own the base game and you don’t have Origin Access, you can get a bundle with the base game and Expansion packs.
- No Packs other than Expansion Packs can be added to this bundle.
- You can still buy other Pack bundles after you own this one.
❗ If you own all of one Pack type, you can’t build a bundle.
What if I have the base game or Packs in my unopened gifts?If you try to buy a bundle with content that is in your unopened gifts, you’ll have to open them during checkout. After you open the gifts, head back to the bundling page and choose your Packs again.
- Any gifts you haven’t opened will be shown as unowned titles.
- We’ll make sure you aren’t trying to buy anything you’ve gotten as a gift.
What if I own The Sims 4, but it’s not in My Game Library?Then Origin won’t know you own the game. Make sure you’re logging into the right EA Account with The Sims 4 on it so that you don’t accidentally buy it again.
