Sims 4 News and Game Guides
The Sims 3 Store team has really boinked up the Store Sets and premium items this year. Multiple sets with half of the objects in one, half a set in another…it’s really a mess. 😛
Anyway, for those of you looking to grab the Crystal Ball separately, can do so in game. Head into Buy Mode > Electronics, and the Crystal Ball is available separately for 600 Simpoints. I have no idea how long it will last in game, so if you want just the Crystal Ball, grab it soon!
We all know that Monday is going to bring some massive changes to The Sims 3 website, and maybe even a brand new patch. To prepare for the site changes, and refresh your memory on what to do before patching, Crinrict has posted an article to help everyone out! Click the image below to be directed.

Hello!
Just a quick heads-up about some scheduled server maintenance which is coming up next week.
Thesims3.com will be unavailable on Monday 27th February from 4pm . The maintenance is expected to take around 6 hours.
If I’m not mistaken, 4pm UK time, is 10am Central Time here in the states. Expect the website to be down for 6 or so hours, while the Sims team performs server maintenance.

Today I had the privilege to chat to SimGuruAaron a Sims 3 Showtime Producer on Skype. I still can’t believe how fortunate it is to talk to someone with such an insight of The Sims 3 Showtime expansion pack and the game in general, his passion for the game is refreshing as it is always when you talk to the Guru’s who work on the game.
I was suppose to have 20mins one on one chat with him that ended up being stretched to almost 50mins he was great to talk to and down to earth. I got to ask him a few questions and he gave me some info that I haven’t heard yet, I am excited to be able to share, we chatted about the game and how The Sims has evolved over the years. SimGuruAarons dedication for not just Showtime but for The Sims was exceptional.

SimGuru’s have confirmed they will be releasing the new “My Page” changes prior to Showtime’s release. With those changes will come a patch that adds the new in game social features, as well as the newly introduced Sims 3 Achievements for PC.
To prepare for the release of these minor “badge unlocking achievements“, we have created a list of the initial 153 achievements. These badges will be publicly displayed on the Sims3.com “my page”, once the changes take effect next week (March). Guru’s have confirmed they will add new achievements weekly, and many of the achievements will be time sensitive.

For those of you haven’t noticed, the Simpoint Bundles in the Sims 3 Store have gotten a second increase! You can now get anywhere from 40 – 8,360 extra simpoints when purchasing a bundle!

Buy and Build modes offer great new items, like elegant hot tubs, sofas, chairs, tables, beds, arcade tables, juke boxes (you can also set the playlist!), a karaoke machine, a king domino table, dj booths(you can use them during shows and/or in entertainment venues getting money), lights, decorative objects, bottle cabinets, posters, stage props, a big car, fences, doors, windows, arches, trees, terrain paints and venues and signs for community lots.

Chapter 7: The Sims 3 goes Online
I played The Sims Online few years ago and I’ve been sorry when it has been closed. It was really nice, addictive and totally online. I’m happy that some online options are back in The Sims 3 thanks to SimPort and the social features. Of course they are not the same as The Sims Online, but at least we can interact with other players and enlarge our horizons. Let’s see together how they work…
