Hey, simmers! Have you been enjoying the new Laundry Day Stuff Pack? I know I have! I know everyone has a different perspective on the pack (which is actually good because the more points of view we hear, the more we understand things) but my experience has been great.

Those who know me are aware that I tend to choose a very realistic gameplay, and I feel like laundry is one of those chores that just had to be included asap in The Sims 4. And I was even more pleased when I learned that most of the items I voted for were picked, so I can say this pack is definetely the experience I wanted to have with it.

In order to bring more ways that these new items can be used, I put together a few ideas where the new country styled, rustic objects seem to fit really well with existing content from the base game, as well as from other packs.

If you like these articles, I would recommend my Inspiration Corner for the Cats & Dogs EP. Also, for more information about The Sims 4 Laundry Day SP, visit SimsVIP’s game guide.

Art Studio

That Still Country Life set with those vases could easily be used for aspiring artists to study in a studio. Also those new big bay windows are great for letting light in, which is ideal in this situation. And every studio needs a sink, so that new, rustic one looks ideal for this scenario.

Restaurant/Café

I love it when I go somewhere to have dinner or even just dessert/coffee and they have a lot of plants around. The greener, the better. Ever since I first saw those new plants, back when we were still voting for stuff, I knew I was going to use them in many builds. That one small tree in the barrell? That’s one of my new favorite items in the game. This is where we can also make use of the new table for six. I love it!

Basements/Attics/Storage Rooms/Garages

I don’t know what you call that one place in your home where you just put away everything you don’t need around most of the time, but let me tell you this: Building a room with that purpose in the game has just become cooler with so many storage options and that one single hanging light bulb.

Walk-In Closets

I’m not talking about the ones that came with TS4 Get Together EP, I’m talking about giving your sims a tiny room where they can walk in, get dressed and walk out. I have tried to build these ever since the game came out, but now it finally feels right, you know?

Porches

Those wicker seats are great for outside areas, so adding them to porches seems like a good choice. If you like the idea of having rugs outdoors (I do!), the new ones will also make the room look very inviting for having people over for a chat and some drinks, or even to attempt to read a book and then falling asleep accidentally.
