The Sims team has released a new community blog for The Sims 4 Seasons confirming that Sims will be able to control temperatures inside their homes with thermostat!
The breeze is blowing. Pollen count is high. Sneezing is in full effect. It must be spring in The Sims 4™ Seasons Expansion Pack!* Curious about some of the fun you can expect in the spring and summer months? Read on, dear Simmers. It’s about to heat up with two of the four seasons.
When it Rains, it Pours
Okay, let’s talk weather. Wait, what’s that sound? Plink. Plink. Crackle-crackle-boom! A thunderstorm? Yes, a thunderstorm!  And thunderstorms tend to make Sims very tense. Yikes! Take cover and smile through your tears because, hey, these things happen.
The moral of this short story is: before planning anything, it’s always good to check the conditions. And for some added protection, Sims can take cover from drizzles and downpours or pop open an umbrella. Of course, they can always jump into a puddle, too! But watch out for that lightning. Sims caught in a storm for too long risk injury or even a visit from the Grim Reaper. Ouch. What a way to go.
It’s Getting Hot in Here
When summer comes around, it will be hot hot hot! And not in a woo-hoo kind of way. Make sure to change Sims into their summer outfits or they’ll risk overheating. And, what better way to cool down than take a dip in the pool? Last one in is a . . . painfully uncomfortable Sim. Little ones will love splashing around in the new toddler pool, too. Plus, there’s a swing set that’s sure to bring some lasting summer memories.
And while we’re on the subject of weather conditions, we should probably tell you about the thermostat, which will regulate temperatures inside your Sims’ homes. When we say regulate, that could really mean anything to you. Make a cheating boyfriend sweat it out, make a family want to huddle together to survive the cold. Ah, so many trolling possibilities. It’s hard to choose just one.
